Deskbound Complex was launched in 2025 by The MFA’s Alastair Douglas and Rhys Evans, with Euge Rasini joining as label manager, and Amilcar Torija as creative director.

Following their debut release on Border Community in 2004, The MFA went on to release tracks on Bpitch Control, Kompakt, Boxer, EQ, and Precinct records.
